This is not a new form element, but an ordinary text box with an image map to the right. Clicking on the arrows moves the date forward or back one day at a time. I've altered the original script so that it works properly for post year 2000 dates, but the fix means that it only works with JavaScript 1.3 browsers; effectively MSIE 4.0 and later and Netscape 4.5 and later. It does not work at all in Opera.
