The script above shows the date in full, and for about 70 holidays and special days it will additionally show the name of the day after the date. I've altered the original script so that it works properly for post year 2000 dates, but the fix means that it only works with JavaScript 1.3 browsers; effectively MSIE 4.0 and later and Netscape 4.5 and later. It does not work at all in Opera.
