Buttons and Beads is an exciting and colourful range of jewellery made, as the name suggests, from buttons and/or beads. A new business venture for Freelance Services in 2007, Buttons and Beads use a variety of fastenings and stringing methods. These include magnetic, screw and other clasps and leather effect, linen thread and coated stainless steel wire stringings. The illustrations show the three main styles at present in production but, only partly because it is a hand-assembled article, each piece of jewellery varies to some extent. They are notable in that each item consists of beads or buttons that are arranged with a degree of randomness.
Retail prices range between £22 and £6 depending on the beads and/or buttons used. Wholesale prices are available on request.
